About the author

Griet Van Malderen is originally from Buggenhout. She began her artistic exploration with a simple family trip to South Africa in 2008. Conquered by the wildlife, she decided to take a step back from her professional activities to devote herself to her new passion: wildlife photography. Over the last few years, she has travelled mainly in Africa, from East to West, North to South. From Kenya to Namibia and South Africa, Botswana, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe, but also the landscapes of Chad, Brazil, Borneo and Antarctica.
